Your Itinerary to Travel Córdoba, Spain
The heart of this tour is four nights in the Andalucian city of Córdoba, where you’ll immerse yourself in its rich history and vibrant culinary scene. You’ll also spend four nights in Madrid, with day trips to Segovia and other historic sites.
- Prepare for your exciting journey to Spain. This day is reserved for travel.
- Check-in time at our hotel is 3pm. Once settled, we’ll gather for cocktails before making our way to an early dinner to kick off the trip.

- After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll catch a train to Córdoba.
- Upon arrival, we’ll check into our hotel and enjoy an afternoon tour of the stunning Mezquita.
- Later, indulge in a private wine-pairing dinner with a local sommelier.

- This day is all about wine! We’ll take a 45-minute bus ride to Moriles to visit the Bodegas El Monte winery, where we’ll enjoy a wine tasting, vineyard tour, and a tapas lunch.

- The theme of the day is “pig on the hoof and pig on the plate.” We’ll visit a dehesa in Villanueva de Córdoba to see how Iberian pigs are raised and tour the Ibesa facility where Jamón Ibérico is aged. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a lunch of Iberian pork prepared in a wood-fired oven.

- We’ll take a guided tour of the famous patios in the San Basilio neighborhood, followed by a free afternoon to explore the city.
- In the evening, we’ll embark on a guided tapas tour, sampling unique dishes at a few local bars.

- We’ll visit the Palace of the Christian Monarchs for a morning tour. After some free time for shopping and lunch, we’ll catch a train back to Madrid.

- After breakfast, we’ll take a train to Segovia. Here, we’ll visit the Alcázar de Segovia, the Roman Aqueduct, and the Cathedral. You’ll have time for a leisurely lunch, shopping, and exploring before returning to Madrid in the evening.

- We’ll start the day with a morning tour of the Prado Museum. The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore the city before we gather for a farewell dinner.
