Experience Córdoba

• Day 0 -- Travel Day
  • Prepare for your exciting journey to Spain. This day is reserved for travel.  
• Day 1 -- Madrid
  • Check-in time at our hotel is 3pm. Once settled, we’ll gather for cocktails before making our way to an early dinner to kick off the trip.
  • Meals included: Cocktails and Dinner
• Day 2 -- Madrid/Córdoba   
  • After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll catch a train to Córdoba.
  • Upon arrival, we’ll check into our hotel and enjoy an afternoon tour of the stunning Mezquita.
  • Later, indulge in a private wine-pairing dinner with one of Andalucía's leading sommeliers.

• Day 3-- Córdoba  (Wine Day) 
  • This is our wine and oil day. We will board a bus for a 45-minute ride to the town of Montilla to visit an olive mill to see how olives are processed into extra virgin olive oil followed by a tasting. Next, we’ll travel to Moriles to visit the Bodegas El Monte winery. We’ll have a tour that will include a tasting of their wines, a ride through their vineyards and a tapas lunch. Back in Córdoba, we’ll have no scheduled activities.

• Day 4  -- Córdoba (Jamón Ibérico Day)  
  • The theme of the day is “pig on the hoof and pig on the plate.” We’ll visit a dehesa in Villanueva de Córdoba to see how Iberian pigs are raised and tour the  Ibesa facility where Jamón Ibérico is aged. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a lunch of Iberian pork prepared in a wood-fired oven.
  • Evening free for your own exploration of Córdoba.

• Day 5 -- Córdoba (Patios & Tapas)  
  • We’ll take a guided tour of the famous patios in the San Basilio neighborhood, followed by a free afternoon to explore the city.
  • In the evening, we’ll embark on a guided tapas tour, sampling unique dishes at a few local bars.
  • Meals included: Breakfast and Dinner
• Day 6  – Córdoba/Madrid   
  • We’ll visit the Palace of the Christian Monarchs for a morning tour. After some free time for shopping and lunch, we’ll catch a train back to Madrid.
  • Once in Madrid, enjoy some free time before a guided tapas tour of the old city.
  • Meals included: Breakfast and Dinner
• Day 7 —Madrid/Segovia   
  • After breakfast, we’ll take a train to Segovia. Here, we’ll visit the Alcázar de Segovia, the Roman Aqueduct, and the Cathedral. You’ll have time for a leisurely lunch, shopping, and exploring before returning to Madrid in the evening.
  • Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch
• Day 8  – Madrid 
  • We’ll start the day with a morning tour of the Prado Museum. The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore the city before we gather for a farewell dinner.
  • Meals included: Breakfast and Dinner
• Day 9 – Madrid   
  • The tour ends after breakfast at the hotel.
  • Meals included: Breakfast
